Tabula Selects Freescale ColdFire CPU for ABAX™ 3-D Programmable Logic Devices
Santa Clara, CA, May 20, 2010 – Tabula, Inc., a privately held fabless semiconductor company that has developed a new category of 3-D Programmable Logic Devices (3PLDs), today announced the selection of the Freescale ColdFire® V1 32-bit CPU core from IPextreme® for the recently announced ABAX 3PLD product family. Tabula, Inc. extends Series C Funding Round
SANTA CLARA, Calif. - October 31, 2008 - Tabula, Inc., a fabless semiconductor company developing the next generation of programmable logic devices, today announced that it has closed a $24 million second tranche of its Series C equity financing, bringing the total amount of Series C funding to $74 million. The additional funding came from Tabula's existing investors Greylock Partners, Benchmark Capital, NEA, Crosslink Capital, DAG Ventures, Balderton Capital, Integral Capital Partners, and SVB Capital. "This funding is another clear vote of confidence on the part of Tabula's investors," said Tabula CEO Dennis Segers. "It reflects their strong belief in our potential as well as their long-term commitment to our future success." Tabula plans to use the financing to complete its product launch and fund its aggressive market entry plans.
